JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a combination of duties on a construction site including masonry, tile laying and plastering.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Smoothens and finishes surface of poured concrete floors, sidewalks or curbs to specified textures, using hand or
power tools, including floats, trowels and screeds.
2. Spreads concrete to specified depth and working consistency, using float to bring water to the surface and
produce soft toppings.  
3. Levels, smoothens and shapes surface of freshly poured concrete, using straightedge and float or power screed.
Finishes concrete surface, using hand tools or power tools, or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to
impart finish.
4. Removes rough and defective spots from concrete surface, using power grinder or chisel and hammer and patches
holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.
5. Moulds expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers and straightedge.  
6. May sprinkle colored stone chips, powdered steel or coloring powder on concrete to produce prescribed finish.
7. May lay other building materials such as bricks, marble, ceramic tiles, structural‐tiles, concrete blocks, gypsum or
terra‐cotta blocks, to construct walls structure, using mortar, tie wires, trowel and pointing tool.
8. Mixes and spreads plaster on walls and ceilings to specified depths, number of layer, consistency and finish prior
to paining or other finish.
9. Prepares bed, base for tile laying on walls and floors. Sets marbles, ceramic, wood or other types of tiles in
accordance with pattern and standard specifications.  
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Complies always with all Company safety procedures and regulations.
2. Ensure attends in all Company sponsored training courses and or seminars as required.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
At least with 3 to 5 years experience as a Mason, Plasterer,
Tiler (post qualification) in the construction industry.  
Must be highly skilled in as Mason/Plasterer) of the skills
with good experience as Tiler.  
Middle East experience is considered essential.
OTHER SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
With excellent communication and interpersonal
skills.
Ability to perform the essential job duties with or without

ACADEMIC EDUCATION:
Minimum of High School graduate/level.
