Quantity Surveyor

JOB SUMMARY:

To manage all quantities relating to projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. To seek to minimize the costs of project and enhance value for money, while still achieving the required standards and quality.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  1. valuing completed work and arranging payments

  2. Review project man‐hours and the allocation of man‐hours in conjunction with planning and cost control on a weekly basis.

  3. Accurately measure the amount of materials needed.

  4. Review manpower is needed to finish the construction.

  5. Review and measure allocated work to subcontractors and their reported physical progress.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, construction or civil engineering from a recognized University.

  • 2-5 years experience in quantity surveyor role, preferably in oil and gas industry.
