GCC Exploring New Partnerships

Last Monday, GCC was invited to attend a meeting hosted by Asharqia Chamber of Commerce presenting Norwegian Companies Trade Delegation in Oil and Gas. The meeting was arranged to connect the delegated members with the local businesses to increase trading and enhance business relationship with Norway. Represented by Mr. Azmi Abousaleh; Technical Support Director, and Mr. Samiuddin Chughtai, Operations Manager, GCC attends the event to explore new partnerships to optimize its reliability by providing its clients with the best in the market technology.

 

The meeting was initiated with a warm welcome by Mr. Bader AlReziza, Vice Chairman of Asharqia Chamber's board of directors, where he discussed the increasing of business and trade relations between Saudi Arabia and Norway in the past 5 years. Followed by HE Thomas Lid Ball, Norway’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he discussed the Oil and Gas sector, and the world effort to transition to renewable energy. Then, he expressed how Saudi Arabia with its vibrant economy is a Strategic partner in the Energy sector. After that, a discussion regarding the regulation and licenses required for foreign businesses to operate in Saudi Arabia was presented by a representative of Ministry of Investment (MISA). Afterwards, the members of the delegation were introduced.

 

The ten delegated members presented different solutions and services including sustainable solutions for industrial cleaning, industrial waste management, and the automation of pipelines inspection and maintenance including hardware and software solutions. After the presentation, b2b meetings with the potential partners was attended by GCC representatives to discuss the possibilities to further utilize such technology.

 

GCC undertakes exploring and investing in different technologies to advance its services and optimize the company reliability as an industrial service provider by adapting with the change that is reshaping the oil and gas sector by adopting different approaches.
